Privacy Researcher/Consultant

Key Role: Research and support clients in building and implementing federal enterprise IT security and privacy programs. Support client needs by assessing the impact of security and privacy goals and objectives on a client’s products or services, including policies, procedures, and business practices. Meet with clients and conduct security and privacy related investigative interviews, research, and surveys. Work with the client to assess and recognize the potential security and privacy policy impact on an organization.



Functional/Industry Knowledge:
-1-2 years of experience with professional work in a federal or consulting environment
-0-2 years of experience with understanding the congressional, administrative, and regulatory impact of privacy laws on the federal and commercial sectors


-0-2 years of experience with the privacy industry developing or applying technical privacy solutions
-Knowledge of how privacy fits into the overall IA or security infrastructure preferred
-Knowledge of best practices and procedures for conducting privacy program reviews, policy gap analyses, impact assessments, audits, and compliance tasks using various assessment methodologies and COTS tools preferred


-Possession of excellent analytical skills required


-Possession of excellent written communication skills required


 


Education/Certifications or equivalent required:
BA or BS degree in IT, Policy, or a related field required
