The Judge Group, Inc. is currently in search of a Procurement Specialist for an excellent company in NYC. 

 

MUST HAVE:  The ideal candidate will have technical skills that include: 1-3 years procurement experience in: managing a procurement process for all purchase and consulting engagements, reviewing contracts/statements of work/quotes, etc., budget allocation, vendor negotiations, and relationship management.

JOB DESCRIPTION: This is a RIGHT TO HIRE position.  The following are primary responsibilities: managing a procurement process for all purchases and consulting engagements, reviewing contracts/statements of work/quotes/etc., reviewing and approving electronic requests, validating budget allocation, and coordinating with Project Managers, Corporate Purchasing, Finance, and Legal.  This person will also assist in vendor negotiations, facilitate invoice validation and payment, manage the process to track, monitor, and report program information and facilitate decision making between various project teams and business units. Further duties include compiling statistics for Finance (labor allocation, budget information, etc.), creating and maintaining Microsoft Share Point intranet sites for project documents and information, coordinating Human Resources functions (organization chart, time reporting, etc.), maintaining a full inventory of servers and statistics, and assisting in the creation and maintenance of program strategic documents.
