JOB SUMMARY:

?

This position is responsible for the proper and sufficient rollout (as defined by existing and future guidelines and the specific dictates of given solutions) of assigned JJWild packaged technology solutions and associated services. The Product Manager ? Core Technology has primary responsibility for:

?The timely and orderly introduction and lifecycle management of new and existing products in the assigned area, including:

a.????? MAGIC OSAL ? Products and services to establish or upgrade a technology platform for MEDITECH MAGIC OSAL.

b.????? Client/Server ? Products and services to establish or upgrade a technology platform for MEDITECH Client/Server.

c.????? Networking ? Products and services that facilitate connectivity for our client base, including Citrix-based solutions.

d.????? Messaging/Faxing ? Products and services that facilitate messaging and distribution of critical reports in the healthcare environment.

e.????? Products ancillary to the above solutions as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain personal and departmental awareness of market and technology trends associated with assigned product set. Develop Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in the assigned product set.Develop meaningful working relationships with appropriate counterparts at MEDITECH that improve alignment between the companies and enhance JJWild?s credibility with MEDITECH. Report on relationships on a consistent basis.Develop meaningful working relationships with appropriate counterparts at your assigned vendors that improve alignment between the companies and enhance JJWild?s credibility with the vendor. Report on relationships on a consistent basis. Escalate issues related to vendor management as appropriate.Work with the Lab Supervisor and Manager of TSG to coordinate any required product testing or certification specifically related to new solution rollouts.Collaborate with the Manager of Marketing Communications and their staff in the design, creation, and content of marketing tools associated with each product.Work to ensure vendor support and alignment with JJWild product development and rollout requirements. Collaborate with the Marketing Systems/IT Group to ensure the timely creation and routine update of templates.Collaborate with the Manager of Engineering (TSG) and the Manager of Design Engineering to ensure the timely creation and maintenance of baseline Statements of Work for each solution assigned.Collaborate with the Manager of Engineering (TSG) to ensure the timely creation and usage of technical build documentation for assigned solutions.Collaborate with the Design Engineering Manager to provide design criteria and training which assures consistent field design of product solutions within published guidelines that assure a quality implementation.Collaborate with the Vice-President of Sales or their assignee to identify beta sites, provide training on JJWild?s product solutions to the sales force, and support early/strategic sales.Convert business and product objectives into actionable product development projects, developing product requirements documents. Work with appropriate cross-team resources to ensure that functional specifications accurately portray product requirements.Create and maintain regular management reports to track progress against plan for key metrics including product sales, usage, customer satisfaction and market share. Identify performance gaps and work to resolution.Provide expertise to the organization and serve as the internal champion of assigned product set(s) as they relate to needs of customers.Manage multiple projects concurrently, driving assigned products throughout their lifecycle.Identify and participate in meaningful outside training opportunities sponsored by vendors, MEDITECH, and other organizations to enhance your understanding of healthcare, technology, and MEDITECH.

REQUIRES:

????? Relevant MEDITECH and/or Healthcare experience.Comprehensive understanding of IT Technologies relevant to JJWild?s market position and product suite.Outstanding written and verbal communications capabilities.Demonstrated capability to manage interdisciplinary resources to accomplish corporate goals for product development and release.Working familiarity with Industry-Standard Servers, Storage Area Networks, Networking Technology, Windows and Windows Server Operating System.Some travel as required to manage beta?s, assist early/strategic sales, and support JJWild marketing programs.Ability to develop a team environment.Ability to adapt and function effectively in a rapidly changing environment.High degree of resourcefulness and initiative.Adherence to Corporate Policies, Procedures and Initiatives.
