Production Support Analyst

This position will perform CA7 database maintenance, job scheduling, calendar builds and resolutions. Additional responsibilities will incllude reviewing, approving, and implementing production changes. This position will interface with Applications Development to provide education and guidance on implementation procedures and techniques. The Production Support Analyst will also serve as first line of defense for mainframe problems and resolution as well as, perform data security functions using IBM software.

 

 The qualified candidate  should have 4 years plus experience in performing production, experience with Z/OS and related components (JCL, TSO, utilities, etc). Experience with Computer Associate Software (CA7, CA11 CA1, Autoops, etc) Knowledge of RACF security product, experience with Microsoft office products, and background in performance and tuning (JCL and access methods). A four year college or technical training is preferred.
