Major Insurance Client needs a Production Support Guru!

 

Excellent Contract to Hire Application Developer opportunity for someone who lives and breathes production support work.  Our client has an immediate opening on their team for an Application Developer responsible for analyzing, designing and documenting resolutions for the backlog of critical and high service requests and production support vantive tickets for the Billing applications.

 

Duties

 Researches the business requirements and evaluates technology solutions to strengthen the billing application production throughputCreates detailed design documents, flows, and coding specs for the on and offshore app engineers to execute Familiar with project life cycle phases and understands the business implications of the SRT changes requiredDepending on the size of the SRT's and Vantives, may instruct, direct and check the work of other developers both on and offshore

 

Required

 Strong COBOL, DB2, BRIO skillsExcellent analysis skills to determine root cause of production issuesDemonstrated experience designing / delivering performance solutions and providing production support for large complex mainframe systemsAbility to Interact with business partners to recommend cost effective solutions to resolve documented issuesHealthcare experience (preferable Billing related) Experience producing project life cycle artifactsDemonstrated business analysis and technical analysis experienceExcellent communication and documentation skills
