Summary:
This position will compile financial information and analyze cost estimating and financial data processes from both a Government and corporate perspective. The analyst shall be fully versed in Government budgetary processes and requirements, obligation/expenditure tracking and DoD planning programming budget system.

1. Examines and reviews cost records and ensures cost data is allocated correctly.
2. Assist Financial Manager in analyzing financial and budgetary information.
3. Draft milestone status reports and earned value management information.
4. Reconcile obligations, expenditures and contract funding levels; track estimates to complete.
5. Provide input for future years' budget projections.
6. Provides financial data support for proposals and budget processes.
7. Prepares budget documents.
8. Tracks invoices and related documentation.
9. Perform cost estimating.
10. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Education and/or Experience - BS/BA Degree or equivalent in Finance/Accounting or related field. 3-6 years experience with a background working within both Federal government accounting and corporate systems. Substitution of additional experience for stated qualifications may be considered
Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills - Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computers - Must have advanced knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - N/A
Clearance - Secret Preferred but not required to start, must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
