Program Manager

Responsibilities:





Implement, manage, review and deliver Program Management Lifecycle Process and all Project Management functions, documents, tools, etc., in accordance with departmental goals and objectives.



Ability to identify, manage and perform risk assessment on critical path activities.



Review and understand the company?s business and functional operations; standardize and document processes; perform risk analysis and make/implement recommendations for improvement.



Assist in strategic and operational planning; business process improvement and make overall improved project recommendations.



Conduct product evaluations (if necessary).



Coordinates activities w/cross-functional groups/departments to achieve product launch objectives.



Research errors to determine cause of error, recommends changes to processes and controls to avoid a repeat of the same error.



Serve as subject matter expert (SME) of one or more functional business processes.









Qualifications:





Bachelors Degree; Business degree preferred with a minor in MIS or related technical field.



PMI membership and/or PMP certification preferred.



5+ years cross-functional project/program management experience.



Experience w/SDLC and managing projects throughout entire project lifecycle. The individual must understand web-based technology and have track-record marketing or managing technology-based services.



Experience with MS Project, MS Project Server, MS Office Professional, Visio and Access.



Ability to manage a multiple of projects simultaneously.



Experience with presenting at C-level project reviews.



Knowledge of PMBOK and design methodologies.



Ability to coordinate efforts and produce results across cross-functional areas and departments.



This position requires a high level of organization and cooperation between diverse business groups with different priorities. Leadership and management skills are critical. In order to be successful, this individual must have demonstrated experience in highly matrixed situations.



The individual must be a self-starter with good self-management skills and comfortable working with minimal supervision.



Ability to understand and evaluate for Intersections? use E-service solutions for third party systems.



An understanding of database concepts (experience with SQL databases preferred).



Strong attention to detail and insatiable curiosity.



Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.



Experienced in managing the resources to fulfill the projects of the Program Management Office and all company programs/projects.
