Program Manager - Consistency

CITY: Danbury STATE: Connecticut COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
An experienced program manager to lead the Capital Solutions Consistency for Growth Initiative including leadership of the strategy and execution of system initiatives to meet regulatory requirements. Work across Application, Architecture and Business Intelligence teams to deliver all Capital Solutions Consistency deliverables.

* Accountable for overall program objectives (effort, schedule, budget and deliverables) typically assigned udring planning and estimating stages.
* Defines the governance structure and decision making approach of the program.
* Works with Product Managers to balance the workload of the program by evaluating the priorities of proposed projects with the capacity to perform the work.
* Define the approach to measuring the value from the business case - measures value on an ongoing basis.
* Initiates the management approaches, schedule, timeline, budget, scope and metrics for the program - manages finances, contracts, record keeping and knowledge management.
* Contain and resolve issues within the program that do not require sponsor attention.
* Assess and monitor stakeholder expectations, take corrective acction to address gaps and communicate status.
* Monitor progress to ensure program objectives are delivered on time and within budget and that business results are realized.
* Facilitate approval for contingency plans, scope changes, determine the impact of program changes on the business case and re-forecast value creation.
* Proactively monitor for program-level risks and develop mitigation plans and address issues escalated by the management team and escalate unresolved issues via the governance structure.

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 7 years of IT experience.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Self directed individual with superior project organization, planning and leadership skills.
* Proficiency in SDLC and large, complex project management.
* Change agent with the ability to interact with and influence business clients at all levels.
* Proven track record of simultaneously managing and delivering multiple projects.
* Ability to work with cross functional teams and across a matrix organization.
