Programmer/Analyst

Milwaukee area company seeking a Programmer Analyst. The programming environment includes PERL, PHP, HTML with Cascading Style Sheets, Javascript, Linux/Unix, MySQL 4.x as well as other Windows and Unix tools. You will be exposed to all areas of product development including design, project management, coding, implementation and documentation.

 

This is an excellent opportunity to be the "go to person" in a small technical operation. You will be responsible for our existing PERL programs, as well as the continuing design, implementation and operation of our MySQL database. The database contains 2.1 million real property records from 42 Wisconsin counties, as well as data from another 120 cities, villages and townships in Wisconsin. Our web systems are in continuous use by over 8,000 Realtors as well as numerous other businesses in southeastern Wisconsin.

 

In addition, you will be responsible for all new web (HTML and PHP) and PERL design and implementation work for our company.

be able to demonstrate mastery of PERL programming and design skills



be a self-starter and be self-motivated



have excellent communications skills



have experience with a SQL database, preferably MySQL



have some HTML experience



have Linux/Unix experience, or demonstrate the ability to acquire it
