Bachelor?s Degree in Information Technology or a computer related field; three years applicable work related experience programming in COBOL; and familiarity with MVS JCL, required. CICS experience is highly desirable. Good understanding of database design principles and experience developing with a mainframe relational database such as IBM DB/2, required. Ability to demonstrate an understanding of software development principles, and systems analysis tools and techniques, required. Position #004065. Duties include: developing and maintaining computer programs and processes; performing moderately complex programming tasks and analysis of user requirements; and creating and testing computer programs. Applying business changes to existing computer programs; creating test data and performing complex program debugging activities; and creating or assisting in the creation of program documentation. Assisting in the training of junior level staff; collecting user requirements; and analyzing user requirements and needs for simple to moderately complex business problems. Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written, required. Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends, required. Salary: Competitive.
