Programmer / Analyst ? Store Systems Pharmacy (2)

 

TechSoft Systems, Inc. a rapidly growing Cincinnati based IT consulting firm.  Due to growing client needs we are currently seeking two Programmer/Analysis - Store Systems Pharmacy for contract opportunity.
 

Programmer/Analyst(1)

Requirements: 

 ? At least 2 years experience working on Windows 2000 and XP operating system is required.

? At least 2 years experience working with SQL Server 2000 is required.

? Some knowledge of Novell tools, such as e-Directory is required.

? Experience with UNIX Shell scripting is a plus, but not required.

? Experience with PDX and Tech RX pharmacy applications is a plus, but not required.

? Good oral and written communication skills.

? Highly motivated and service oriented.

? Ability to learn new technologies and systems quickly.

? Good analytical abilities and solid problem solving skills.

 

Responsibilities

 ? Work with pharmacy coordinators and project leads to complete development of a HIPPA certified pharmacy 

 workflow application.

? Work with a Pharmacy project lead and the application owners to complete enhancements to current design of application.

? Complete testing of all system changes and enhancements.

? Assist the Pharmacy team in managing the rollout of the HIPAA-certified version of software to the enterprise.

? Provide support and maintenance documentation for pharmacy workflow applications.

? Provide overnight support for conversion to new version of software.

? Provide training for divisions on HIPPA changes in new version of software.

? Interact with store personnel, the Support Center, and other MIS application groups, to answer questions and resolve issues as they pertain to both the current and HIPPA versions of software.

 

 

Programmer/Analysis (2)

Requirements: 



? At least 2 years experience working on a SCO UNIX platform is required.

? At least 2 years experience with Kornshell scripting.

? Experience with PDX and NDC pharmacy applications is a plus, but not required

? Good oral and written communication skills

? Ability to learn new technologies and systems quickly.

? Good analytical abilities and solid problem solving skills

? Ability to manage multiple tasks on an ongoin basis.

 



Responsibilities



? Work with pharmacy coordinators and project leads to complete development of a HIPPA certified pharmacy workflow application.

? Work with a Pharmacy project lead and the application owners to complete enhancements to current design of application.

? Work with a Pharmacy project lead and the application owners to design system enhancements.  This will be limited.

? Work with Pharmacy division users to troubleshoot issues and provide applicable information to the vendor to assist in resolving application issues. 

? Work with the Corporate Pharmacy and File Transfer team to implement monthly clinical files for both NDC and PDX systems.

? Work with the Corporate Pharmacy and File Transfer team to implement product cost updates for PDX host systems.

? Assist the Pharmacy team in the testing of system changes and enhancements.

? Assist the Pharmacy team in rolling software upgrades out to NDC systems.

? Provide support and maintenance documentation for the Pharmacy applications (including the base pharmacy application and the internet refill application). 

? Interact with store personnel, the Support Center, and other MIS application groups, to answer questions and resolve issues as they pertain to the NDC Pharmacy System.

?  Become a member of the support rotation
