Programmer II- DEN

Due to the growing demands of our services, we currently have an exciting Programmer II opportunity, within our Englewood, CO location.
Under limited supervision, follows clear-cut and complete specifications to perform a variety of high level programming assignments requiring detailed knowledge of established programming procedures and data processing requirements. Reviews, analyzes, and modifies custom or 3rd party application systems in support of SOURCECORP business needs.
Successful Candidate will be able to demonstrate:
? Make approved coding and configuration changes to applications including testing and documentation.
? Confirm project requirements by reviewing program objectives, input data, and output requirements with analyst, supervisor, operations staff and/or client.
? Arrange project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements, preparing a workflow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer/system capabilities, subject matter, programming languages, and logic.
? Encode project requirements by converting workflow and detailed design information into computer language.
? Confirm program operation by conducting tests, modifying program sequence and/or code to achieve specified end results.
? Maintain historical records by documenting program development and revisions as detailed on SOURCECORP change control procedures.
? Maintain client confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
? Perform routine programming assignments requiring knowledge of established programming procedures and business requirements.
? Write new program code for data capture, workflow, imaging, OCR and utility applications.
? Analyze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with operational users and IT leads.
? Confer with operational users and IT leads to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs.
? Provide on-call support and problem resolution for computer and system applications in support of SOURCECORP operations.
? Maintain currency of knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and applications.
? Develop administrator and user documentation for new and modified applications systems.
? Work with operations staff and client representatives to gather application and system requirements.
? Develop and document detailed application and system designs.
? Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
? Able to implement and troubleshoot programming changes and modifications based on operational and technical input.
? Communicate with and interpret the operational requirements of end users and clients.
? Can work independently on specific projects.
Candidate must possess the following:
? Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
? 3 ? 5 plus years experience in software design, development, and testing.
? 1 ? 3 years experience in document imaging, data capture, OCR, and workflow systems.
? Proficient with one or more of the Microsoft and/or Borland development technologies (VBA, VB, C#, .NET, SQL Server, C++, and Builder) or equivalent experience in component or object-oriented based development platforms.
? Communication, customer driven, general data capture knowledge, project development, unit test, teamwork and specific job knowledge in relation to the data capture, workflow, document processing, and imaging.
? Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
? Detailed knowledge of established programming procedures, methodologies, and languages.Detailed knowledge of established testing procedures and methodologies.
? Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal.
