Job Description: 

 

RTTS, a dynamic New York-based software consulting firm with Fortune 500 clients and international reach is looking for recent graduates and career-changers to be trained as Programmers/QA Testers (Test Engineer).

 

We provide a great experience in both the business and technology worlds, working with the global premier firms in every vertical industry while implementing cutting edge tools from the industry leaders in software.

 

This position requires strong analytical, interpersonal and programming skills.

 

You will be responsible for interfacing with Fortune 500 customers and supporting your internal team. Responsibilities may include assessing client applications and technical architecture, planning project tasks, designing use cases and test cases, coding automated solutions utilizing the industry-leading tools, executing, evaluating and tracking results, evaluating and improving the process.

 

RTTS offers an in-depth training program that averages 325 hours, and which will provide you with proficiency in vertical market business processes, project implementation, software processes, software architectures, strategies for analysis and testing of business systems, and problem remediation.

 

 

Job Qualifications:

 

All of the following criteria must be met:

 

- (a) Possess an undergraduate degree (major or minor) in computer science (CS, MIS, IT, CE) or (b) working towards or possess a graduate degree in computer science (MS, MBA), or (c) working towards or possess a certificate program in computer science or computer programming.

 

- Minimum of 2 semesters of programming in Java, C, C++, C#, Visual Basic or other mainstream language.

 

- Currently live in the New York City metropolitan area (NJ, southern CT, NYC boroughs, Long Island).

 

- Professional appearance & exceptional communication skills a must.

 

- Willingness to fulfill engagements within North America (although typical engagements are in the NY tri-state area).

 

- Use of an automobile for commuting.

 

- Applicants for employment must possess work authorization that does not require sponsorship by the employer for a Visa. 

 

 - Previous work experience servicing external clients is a plus.
