We're looking for a Developer/Programmer for our St. Louis office to be responsible for converting educational books to web and/or XML and multimedia. Responsibilities include automation, cleaning up XML files, development of custom software, multi-tasking with different projects including interactive, multimedia and other IT tasks as assigned. Ideal candidates will be fast-learners with some familiarity with the publishing industry as well as excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and efficiently with our team members.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS: - XML, HTML, JavaScript, JAVA

 

In addition, the following skills are desirable, but not required: - ActionScript - VB .NET - QuarkXperss - SQL and other database development

 

To be the successful candidate for this job, you must: be a self-starter and be self-motivated have excellent communications skills be a US citizen or a permanent resident (green card holder)
