Progress Architect-PA

    Job Description We have a present need for an Architect in Allen town, PA. Experience in Progress, UNIX, Linux, Archive Solutions, Java

Key Attributes/Requirements:

?  Provide strategic technical leadership within Virtusa and on customer engagements

?  Provide strong thought leadership and advise our customers based on proven expertise delivering solutions in areas of enterprise architecture, application consolidation and migration, system integration, open source technologies, and High-Tech industry best practices, tools, methodologies and solutions.

?  Work closely with business and technical leadership at the customer organization, and effectively communicate with client management. Excellent relationship skills in the form of management and consultation are also critical to the success of this position.

?  Strong working knowledge of architecture and integration patterns and best practices in defining high performance transaction, asynchronous and batch-oriented applications.

?  Serve as the technology delivery lead for one or more customer engagements.  Provide clear direction to a global Virtusa customer engagement team and mentor senior team members on the project.  Work closely with the Director of Client Services or Project Manager to ensure that the project meets time, budget, customer satisfaction and internal team satisfaction goals.

?  Travel required



Must Have Skills

* 7-8 years of experience in IT
* 2+ years if experience as an Architect
* Experience in Progress, 4GL,Webspeed,UNIX, Linux, Archive Solutions, Java
* Experience working with offshore Development teams
* Experience with client a facing role
* Excellent Communications
* Strong Verbal and Written communications
