BASIC FUNCTION

This position will assist the Strategy and Planning Manager in the development of annual budgets and interim forecasts for the IT organization.
In addition, the function will include the preparation, review and analysis of monthly IT project financials for the Project Management Team.
The reporting responsibility also includes review of monthly expense activities, establishing monthly accruals, and assisting the Strategy and Planning Manager in performing SOP 98-1 analysis.

This position will also play a lead role with the Project Management Team in deploying, maintaining, and developing ongoing project data capture and reporting.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY No direct reports

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*
o Review, analyze, and present monthly invoices and expenses for projects & IT initiatives
o Reconcile hours reported in consultant activities reports with respective invoices and report findings to Strategy and Planning Manager
o Monthly tracking and reporting of project development hours
o Prepare monthly expense accruals
o Work with Strategy and Planning Manager and Project Management Team to identify, develop & implement opportunities for project cost savings
o Assist the Strategy and Planning Manager in the development and implementation of the Project NPV Model
o Play a lead role in assisting the Project Management Team in generating weekly and ad-hoc status reports
o Administer Microsoft Project Server to capture data required for reporting

QUALIFICATIONS

Preparation, Knowledge, Previous Experience:
o 3-5 Years of demonstrated experience performing financial analysis for multiple projects
o Experience with MS Project Server administration
o Familiarity with GEAC, JDE, and SOP 98-1 analysis is a plus
o Very strong MS Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, models, linked files, v-lookups, large data files, etc.)

Level of Education Required:
o Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required; with MS/MIS is a plus
