Project Coordinator-Business Analyst

Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a Project Coordinator-Business Analyst for an immediate need in Richmond, VA. 

 

Responsibilities:

The Business Analyst is primarily responsible for providing research, analysis and support on strategic initiative projects related to a wide range of products, operations, and systems throughout the firm.  The analyst provides assistance to project managers, as needed, throughout all phases of the project life cycle.  The analyst will work with all levels of associate, including Senior Management.  In conjunction with the PM, the analyst will create, produce and maintain various project management reporting tools including meeting agendas and minutes, status reports, project plans, issues/task lists and presentations.  Typical project responsibilities include participating in and conducting meetings, preparing minutes, managing issues/task lists, developing documentation, procedures, and communications.  The analyst will cultivate skills to lead a potential career path as a project manager or subject matter expert for a specific system or function.

 

Requirements: 

Previous business analyst and/or Project Coordination experience. 
Brokerage/Financial industry knowledge and experience
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Demonstrated business etiquette in written and verbal communications
Demonstrated ability to gather, compile, manipulate and present data from multiple sources.
Strong analytical thinking skills
Detail oriented, quick learner and wants to learn, self directed

 

The Demand Management team serves as the heart of project plan process for MF, C/S, and other apps projects that come from multiple business groups including regulatory, trade, prospectice, etc.  This person will have to be able to analyze data, project plans and workflows to see what needs to be done, who is impacted, coordinate time lines, etc. to support the teams for ALL IT requests.  This person will review impact assessments, approval processes and be able to compile status data to give back.  This is a huge coordination effort with upwards of 200 requests at a time.
