Project Coordinator II

TD Ameritrade is looking for a Project Coordinator II to work at our Headquarters location in Omaha, NE or at our Baltimore, MD location. This position is responsible for coordination of moderately to increasingly complex infrastructure projects. A Project Coordinator II may be assigned a small, low complexity enterprise project.  The individual in this position must ensure that established product standards (on-time launch, overall usability, performance, etc.) are met or exceeded in all efforts.  Assists business partners in defining needs, and interacts with them to gather and document requirements.

 

Responsibilities:

? Interface with appropriate business units to understand their needs, document requirements, and secure appropriate project buy-in/sign-off throughout the project 

? Completes the generation of a thorough business requirements document, which requires extensive  research  and analysis

? Provides pertinent information to project stakeholders so that  project related decisions are made in a timely manner

? Gathers estimates and project plan information from others

? Maintains a detailed Project plan

? Coordinate and lead project team meetings

? Communicate all project-related information (weekly status reports, deliverables, plans) to project team members

? Works with others to develop and recommend functional/technical solutions to business units

? Identify, track and drive resolution of project issues and risks

? Track progress of testing and participate as necessary in business acceptance testing

? Work with business owners to ensure appropriate training is provided

? Works under the direction of  senior team members or manager on all aspects of project

 

 

Qualifications:

 

? Must have experience in project management of small to moderately complex projects

? Working knowledge of a project lifecycle methodology

? Good knowledge of project management tools

? Good technical or business analysis skills

? Good problem solving and analytical skills

? Demonstrated basic conflict management skills

? Maintains subject matter expertise related to infrastructure or products on both a technical and business level

? Good  business knowledge as it relates to the brokerage industry

? Good written and verbal communication skills required for interactions across organization

? Contract knowledge

? Ability to work within a team environment

? Works under direction of a manager

? Minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience

? Minimum of 3 years Project Management experience in a cross-functional environment

? Bachelor degree in business, finance, or technology related field desired, or equivalent working experience.
