Project Coordinators - Immediate need!

Our client, a leading insurance company, has an immediate need to bring on several Project Coordinators.

 

Main job responsibility is to ensure that the strategic direction of the projects is in line with the organizations business plan. Must be responsible for monitoring project results by entering work requests and tracking project performance. Develop project plan and schedule. Define scope and manage deliverables. Coordinate and monitor all development related to assigned projects. Serve as project liaison, and subject matter expert for cross-functional teams. Administer project meetings. Create dashboard reports and executive summaries.



Duties:

* Approves work requests by receiving work requests; enforcing standards; obtaining required information; completing cost/benefit analysis.

* Initiates work flow by entering job in scheduling and tracking system.

* Monitors work flow by updating tracking system; monitoring results; investigating deviations from schedule; referring problems to manager.

* Prepares performance reports by collecting and summarizing project status.

* Help with facilities, coordination, some writing and budget tracking

Position starts immediately and is a long-term ongoing contract. 2 locations available - Simi Valley and Los Angeles.  Please indicate in your reply which location you wish to be considered for.

$ 25-30 hr DOE
