MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience. 

 

Note:  The Project Director of Application Development Student Administration and Financial is responsible for overseeing the transaction-processing group within technical support and the Functional Credentials Section.  This group is responsible for the enterprise database systems and transaction processing systems that form the basis of the computer systems as well as credentialing for university end users.  This responsibility includes transaction processing security, resource monitoring and reporting.  It also includes the development of specialized programs.  The Credentialing team is responsibility for process redesign, system testing training, documentation, testing for end-user credentials, applications and operations.  Ability serve as a facilitator to interface their modules to other EIT or University software solutions is required.

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have:

 Supervisory experience and ability to plan and control projects; Ability to communicate effectively in dealing with internal and external customers and suppliers; Working knowledge of the PeopleSoft Student Administration and Financial Modules; Knowledge at the expert level of current techniques and hardware capabilities of a large scale computing environment; and Ability to understand, and clearly relate to other members of the organization, technical manuals, software specifications, hardware principals of operations, and general methods of applications software development methodologies and techniques.
