Project Lead Developer

UBS is a leading global financial services firm. Our Investment Bank is one of the world's top global investment banking and securities firms, providing a full spectrum of products to institutional and corporate clients, intermediaries, government and hedge funds worldwide.

This group is responsible for supporting the Municipal Trading department a.k.a. Municipal Securities Group(MSG). We develop, and support applications relating to the Municipals market.

MSG is involved in:

* Underwriting Municipal Securities(Banking)

* Trading Muni Long Bonds to institutional as well as Retail clients.

* Trading Short Term Products(Auction Rate Certificates, Auction Rate preferred, Variable Rate Demand Obligations...etc)

* Creating, managing, and trading Tender Option Bonds, SWAPS, Arbitrages, and Total Rate of Return Swaps

* Supporting the Business Control, Compliance and Regulatory Units

Basic Qualifications

* Four year degree (BA/BS) or international equivalent

* Minimum of 2 years experience leading a team of 3 to 6 developers

* Minimum of 6 years experience with C/C++ Programming with Sybase or any relational databases in a UNIX environment

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with Fixed Income Instruments

* Object Oriented Design and programming

* Experience that involved heavy interactions with Traders, and Trade Support Personnel.

* C, C++, Java, Javascript, HTML, Sybase, Unix Korn Shell, architech/ design experience

* Financial Systems experience, Strong analytical skills, Good communication skills
