Project Manager

As a Project Manager with U.S. Bank, you will: Be responsible for technical business analysis, consulting, business case development and technical task/project management associated with TT&SS (Trust Technology and Support Services) projects. Be responsible for technical project coordination within TT&SS and will work closely with our technical IS group (TOS) in this capacity. Provide business technical analysis, assist in development of business case justification, document technical requirements, create business statement of work documentation, and create financial proposal documentation for Trust projects. Be required to assist the Trust business lines in assessing technology opportunities and options in order to recommend technical solutions. Assist with the management of the technology project from the Trust side. Manage external vendor implementations, role and responsibilities definition, evaluation of training needs, transition to the business application support model, product testing/technical readiness, liaison with TOS technical resources, risk mitigation, and quality control. Be the primary interface with our Technical IS group (TOS) and will also interact with operations and product partners across the enterprise. Have involvement in technical planning, business case development, product development and definition of product management activities and support. Be able to effectively work multiple, high priority initiatives/projects simultaneously. While we expect that you?ll possess a strong basic skill set, including excellent communication and people skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team or independently, we also require: A Bachelor's degree (MIS or technical degree preferred). 7 years work experience. A background in business technology analysis with demonstrated ability to create business technical analyses, assist in development of business case justifications, requirements definition and a statement of work is required. A proven track record of managing complex technical tasks or technical project within a business line and technical organization. Multitasking and management of multiple initiatives. Proven experience with technical planning and business technology evaluation is required. Knowledge of Trust financial service is a plus. Excellent skills in planning, organizing, technical task/project management tracking/reporting, and leading technical work efforts. Experience with financial budgeting and control aspects of technical projects. Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and facilitation), risk management, and organizational skills are also required.
