Project Manager - Data Warehouse

The position is located in Northbrook, IL
The purpose of the department is to deliver and administer ADW Business Warehouse solutions to the Allstate organization.
The scope of this job is Project Manager - Provides leadership in four capability areas in the IT environment: people management, project management, process management, and client relationships.
The individual will be responsible for
1. Primary Responsibilities: Developing and aligning team around overall strategy and mission. Facilitates IT project delivery and support. Manages, leads and develops people. Controls budget, expenses and scope. Identifies and manages risk, issue and problem resolution. Develops, supports, and manages relationships (business, vendors, enterprise). Communicates and manages communications. Uses functional, business, and technical knowledge to deliver the best solutions. Identifies strategic improvements in what is delivered to the business and users. Creates and maintains formalized business agreements with client and monitors client satisfaction.
2. Specific Responsibilities: Delivers needs identified by the client organization, and practices confidentiality. Understands and is able to affect factors that contribute to or impede human performance. Maintains knowledge of the processes, operations and strategic directions and goals of the organization
3. Specific Responsibilities: Reviews timelines of processes and activities to be adhered. Provides communications on a regular basis. Provides recommendations to others within the organization by presenting plans and timelines.
4. Other Responsibilities: Provides information and assistance in the introduction to change and the impact of the change process on the organization. Establishes and maintains relationships throughout the organization with individuals, and project teams. Establishes metrics to monitor specific activities, adjusting goals as needed.
5. Other Responsibilities: As a senior member of the team, this individual will be responsible for providing coaching and mentoring to junior team members. Works with leadership to develop training plans and provides thought leadership for creating processes that will advance the team into the future.

Experience Required:
5-10 years in managing large, complex projects. Data Warehouse experience is a must.
Computer Proficiency:
5-10 years experience with MS Project and MS Office Suite of tools.
