Project Manager - Document Imaging

The primary function of this position is to become the Open Text/Gauss software subject matter lead. Other duties include meeting with users, identifying business process requirements and programming with Open Text?s Ascent/Capture software. This individual will also assist in coordinating and implementing the Document Imaging and workflow scripting within PHH Corporation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and maintain scripting for Document Imaging scanning processes 
Workflow programming using Staffware Graphical Workflow Definer
Maintain security administration for Document Imaging users
Security Administrator for Document Manager and Work Flow users
Perform quality assurance tests on DI and workflow programming
Assist with documentation of functional system requirements and specifications
Advise management on application licenses, upgrades and general maintenance regarding Open Text/Gauss VIP Enterprise Document Management application
Provide technical support to end-users; clarify data quality questions and system features; troubleshoot interface failures and involve next support tier when appropriate.
Maintain standard document labeling/naming conventions; automate purging of documents and support process to ensure that documents are deleted/destroyed after defined retention periods, etc
Review requirements provided by the DI end-user coordinator to create indexes and design the necessary document class and document type for search and retrieve purposes  

 

Ideal Candidate:
Knowledge of Open Text/Gauss software design and implementation experience is a big plus
Experience using Kofax Ascent Capture software for document scanning and automated indexing.
Working knowledge of databases such as SQL Server, Oracle or DB2
Script programming experience

 

Requirements:  
Qualified candidate must be a highly organized and self-motivated individual with strong business understanding of standard processes, change orders, and project coordination.
Strong computer skills. (Word, Project and Excel)
Ability to perform Visual Basic scripting
Self-starter and innovative individual with a minimum of 1 year of programming/scripting experience -VB preferred
Must have excellent consultative and communication skills and must be able to interface with both technical and non-technical personnel.
Be a TEAM player and have demonstrated professional leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and to work independently on multiple on-going projects/tasks
