Project Manager - ITIL (Life Cycle and Process Management)

We have a high-profile opportunity for a seasoned Project Manager to oversee the Demand Management project for an international company. 

 Scope

The client has entered into a partnership with a large outsourcing company to provide IT sourcing to all non-core infrastructure services. 

 

This project manager will work with various IT functions and Client?s IT service provider to develop processes and plans that will facilitate this partnership. ITIL (certification and experience) is a must.  Candidate must be a self-starter and be able to work with various levels of internal and external staff. 

 Objectives

?  Project Manager will assist Client?s Strategic Partner to define essential processes of demand management including demand planning, fulfillment, and supply management.  This project will also serve to integrate these processes with existing GIS processes including Investment Portfolio Management (IPM), Work & Service Request Management (ITIL - Information Technology Infrastructure Library) and LifeCycle Management.

 

?  Develop demand management capabilities that are essential to the success of the Information Technology Operations (ITO) environment

? Define details of the demand management processes

?  Demand planning

?  Fulfillment

?  Supply management

? Define linkages to existing GIS processes and ITIL processes

?  Strategic demand ? portfolio plan

?  Operational demand ? day-to-day work & service requests

? Support roll-out of demand management

Terms

This project is expected to go through June of 2007.  We will consider W2 or 1099 contractors.  Benefits available.
