Project Manager / Networking Technologies

Job Title: Project ManagerLocation: Houston, TX Our client, a premier Houston-based network integration and consulting firm, is seeking individuals to work closely with our Fortune 1000 clients in a project management capacity.   As a Project Manager, you will be working with our Account Management team, our Consultants and directly with our customer base.  Your primary responsibility will be to manage project resources and customer expectations from the project initiation through closure.  Qualified candidates must be detail orientated and have the ability to work multiple projects simultaneously.In addition, you will be responsible for managing the content and timing of all deliverables for these projects.  As a Project Manager, you will be involved with the development and delivery of the Statements of Work, project plans, status reports and change request necessary for each project. The candidate for this position must have a keen awareness of the business impact each project may have on the customers business.  Outstanding communication skills are vital to your success in this position. Minimum Required Experience and Education: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, MIS or Business
Project Management Certificate or equivalent (PMP / IT Project+)
Minimum of 2 years experience in IT project management
Minimum of 3 years experience in the IT industry (Microsoft, Security and Network Infrastructure)
Superior customer service skills
Excellent communication skills and professional appearance are essential
