Job Description - The candidate will be a Senior Project Manager for the Citibanking North America Information Technology Group.  The individual will manage large, complex technology projects on behalf of that organization.  Typically these projects span multiple application technology groups within Citibanking, other internal Citigroup, and external technology partners, and multiple business units.  Working with a business sponsor the individual will manage the development and execution of project plans, including risk planning, scheduling, resource and cost management, bringing together all the internal and external technology partners participating in the effort.

Able to perform assigned activities with limited supervision
Experience communicating with employees at all levels and units
Proven ability to communicate effectively at both technical and non-technical levels:


-  Project Planning, project status reporting and Cost estimating and tracking


-  Identity, track and mitigate risk.  Communicate and escalate risk that become issues and impact project cost or delivery date


-  Ensure thorough testing processes are followed. Measure quality and produce products within quality standards.


-  Experience handling multiple projects concurrently and consistently meeting project deliverables/deadlines.

Provide and effectively present viable alternatives to customer technology requests – be a liaison between the business and the development shop.

Ensure all Process Control procedures are followed such as Architecture Process, Change Management, Continuity of Business, Contracting and Outsourcing and Information Security.   
Knowledge and working experience in either Banking or major Financial institution back office operations shop, marketing or branches


Functional Skills:


?  Proven skill with common office automation applications (such as word processing, spreadsheets, powerpoint, etc.), including project management tools such as MS Project.

Technology/program management life cycle
Experience applying standard software development methodologies

Education/work experience necessary


1.  7+ years in a technology environment and at least 5 years of experience as a project manager (managing technology projects).


2.  Experience in Banking environment a must.


3.  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
