Project Manager, Testing

Position Summary: Testing Manager for MST program. The Test Manager is responsible for managing the overall testing strategy and execution for the Merchandising Systems Transformation program. This position will manage and coordinate the activities for a team of Test Leads and Testers responsible for the development and execution of test plans across all projects within the program.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Provide vision, guidance, and oversight of the testing effort across the program. Responsible for defining all testing and defect resolution processes, staff and team development, execution through all phases of testing. Will coordinate all testing activities with the development project team, infrastructure teams, and other impacted stakeholders. Responsible communicating progress/status, managing risks and issues, managing defect resolution, and process improvement for all aspects of testing.

Supervisory Responsibilities (if applicable): Manage the work of a team of Test Leads and Testers ? 5 ? 10 direct reports. Responsible for personnel management of the Circuit City members of the team ? goals/objectives, performance evaluations, hiring, individual development, etc.

Preferred Education and/or Experience : BA/BS preferred. 5+ years experience in managing teams. Desire experience in managing testing for large projects/programs in a complex, multi-tiered environment. Experience testing package applications a plus. Requires previous management experience.
