Project Manager with Pharmaceutical Experience

Job description: DAILY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITY (elaborate):We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to manage a large portfolio of NT based applications upgrade to Windows 2K. Proven management ability in managing simultaneous/large scale upgrades on diverse platforms (IIS, SQL, Oracle, VMWare, Citrix and W2k) in a FDA CFR 21 Part 11 compliant environment. Proven expertise in managing development/infrastructure teams in defining new Hardware to Middleware Solution stacks and provide strategy planning to migrate each application to it’s appropriate Solution stack. Strong and proficient in budget controls, budget planning, resolution driven, and proven leadership skills in managing multiple projects across World Wide business lines. Detailed oriented and experience in process documentation, metric management and analysis.Specific responsibilities for this role include:* Oversight of multiple initiatives for a large engagement.* Staffing, budget planning and oversight for a program consisting of multiple and/or complex projects.* Coordinating with internal and external parties (lenders) to plan, launch, and implement project.* Oversight of formal planning cycle for resources, budget and initiatives on a quarterly basis.* Translates customer requirements into priorities as appropriate.* Management reporting and program status reports including resource utilization and actual spend trends.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:* 8 years of successful, progressive project and program management experience with demonstrated knowledge and ability to apply commonly used project management principles, practices and techniques.* at least 5 years of which are in software development in the Pharma industry.TECHNICAL SKILLS (e.g., operating systems, programming languages)Experience in Enterprise Portfolio Management in a Windows 2000 environment supporting multiple platforms (Web Portal, Oracle/SQL Database, Citrix, VMware, and Applications). Solid knowledge of Server Redundancy, Shared Storage Networks (SAN), Disaster Recovery, Server-Application Commissioning and Decommissioning Methodologies for a FDA Compliant(CFR 21 Part 11) environment.Solid application skills using Excel (Graphs, Pivot Tables, Calcs), PowerPoint, Strong Access Database Skills to create reports, manage master lists, Microsoft Project, Outlook, Documenteum eRoom, and VisioCERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:PMP PreferredSUBMIT YOUR RESUME’S WITH CONTACT INFO IN WORD FORMAT.
