Project Support Analyst, IT Business Operations

Job Requirements:
Associate Degree in Business or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Typically will have two or more years of experience in a senior coordinator or administrator support position with analytical and graphics production responsibilities. Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint. Experience with the establishment and maintenance of databases for use in monitoring and tracking program results. Demonstrated ability to compile, organize, and present accurate data reports. Demonstrated ability to work on multiple major projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion of work assignments under pressure and adjusting to changing priorities. Must have strong oral and written communication skills and be customer focused to understand and appropriately respond to clients business needs. Candidate must be able to understand the Performance Management processes and be able to identify and work with the organizational touch points required for carrying out the activities. Must have a thorough knowledge and use of appropriate systems, procedures, processes, and IT organization to support the business activities. Must demonstrate the ability to interface effectively and collaborate with clients, peers, management, and other business units.

 

Preferences:
Knowledge of business and technology concepts, web application tools, Lotus Notes, Visio, Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat Writer, Adobe Illustrator, and PMR Achievement Goal System.

 

Typical Responsibilities:
This position will report to the Manager of Performance Management in the Information Technology Business Operations Center (BOC) organization. The successful candidate is responsible for supporting the department Monitoring, Tracking and Reporting activities within the IT Business Operations Center. This support includes tracking and reporting of ongoing IT activities, the development and publication of materials in support of reporting IT department achievements, progress towards meeting yearly goals, KPIs, report cards, results sharing, and other reports as requested by management or corporate. These reports include but are not limited to the IT Monthly Performance Report, monthly Corporate Report, IT Division Operations Reviews, Quarterly Business Report, and EIX IT Reports. This requires interface with the Department Coordinators, IT Management and other business units to ensure accuracy of reporting. Other responsibilities include development and maintenance support for the PMR Achievement Goal System and Lotus Notes databases. This individual will also function as a key resource for supporting graphics development and production activities within the IT Business Operations Center. This support includes the development and publication of materials in support of business and technology products, such as business cases, operating plans, project plans, project schedules, product and service offerings, department calendars, etc. This individual will be responsible for handling and maintaining highly confidential information. As part of the IT BOC Performance Management team, the successful candidate will be expected to identify and recommend solutions to improve overall capabilities of the organization.
