Project Workflow Analyst

Responsible for facilitating and managing the overall ACS custom programming activities for vendor/offshore assignments, including facilitating issue resolutions, working with clients, and the tracking of assignments — timeline, budgets and quality. Ensures all work products assigned are delivered according to scheduled deadlines, standards, processes, quality expectations and project budget. Coordinates training on and ensures ACS standards, policies and procedures are being adhered to on assignments, including SAS 70 controls. Coordinates quality reviews of deliverables, including specifications, code and test results.  Works closely with ACS Contract Administrator to provide status on vendor compliance with quality measures, contract terms, invoice vs. actual hours consumed, and other tasks necessary to provide vendor oversight.  Create and track resource availability and provide assistance with ACS forecasting activities. Provide input to quality evaluations of vendor, vendor personnel and offshore associates. Able to successfully multitask and coordinate multiple, simultaneous projects.

 

Receives minimum supervision, works within established standards. Able to analyze project data and gather necessary inputs to make decisions regarding approach, project deliverables and timelines; makes recommendations on decisions to Lead Project Workflow Analyst and management when seeking advice on the appropriate course of action. Competent in most aspects of projects and project coordination tasks.



Experience:

2-4 years experience as a project coordinator or manager with in-depth experience in managing multiple projects at one time. Understanding or experience in the system development lifecycle a plus, as it pertains to customizations with PeopleSoft or other HR/Benefits/Payroll systems.  Effective listening, written and oral communication skills required.  Strong understanding and experience of HR/Benefits/Payroll processes. Proven ability to project manage/coordinate multiple projects through the system development lifecycle (analysis through support); ability to manage budget, timeline, change controls and other project related tasks. Proven ability to manage time, projects and multiple competing priorities.  Ability to work under pressure of time constraints and to prioritize assignments necessary. PC literacy in MS/DOS, Windows and advanced functions of common business software including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint required. Consulting experience is a plus, but is not required. 

 

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Information Systems or equivalent education and experience required. Specialized training or equivalent experience in human resources required
