Provisioning Program Developer (XML, J2EE, Oracle)

We have Developer positions that are contract-to-hire after 6 months. There are 2-3 positions (1 Project Manager and 2-3 Developers). There is a possibility for the Developers to work remote after their initial training. Pay and Bill Rates are wide open! Our client is looking for someone that is a very strong Developer with programming skills in XML, Java, Oracle, etc. and can be trained for this position. This is an off-the-shelf application, but highly customized; so no one will have these exact programming skills. The program itself was written in XML and the Web is Java-based, but has not been used a lot. There will be development, tweaking, and troubleshooting as well as working with new features. The PM position will be chosen based on communication, leadership, and project management skills. We are not looking for a former Project Manager. This is for EUM (Enterprise User Management), the self-service tool system that is used when new contractors and permanent hires come aboard. The Manager goes into the Intranet tool and secures Log-on and Access IDs. Responsibilities: design/develop and deploy highly scalable and high-availability large-scale enterprise software systems using J2EE and OO technologies, develop security solutions for a large enterprise.

A B.S. in a Computer discipline is required with a Master's degree being preferred. Candidates must have 5 years or more of experience in software development with the experience necessary to manage medium-sized software development projects. Skills and knowledge (one or more) include: someone that is a very strong Developer (in XML, Java, Oracle, etc.), someone that can be trained for this position, working knowledge of (J2EE technologies Identity Management Systems (IBM Tivoli IdentityManager, Sun IdentityManager, Computer Associates IdentityManager-Lighthouse), Active Directory, LDAP IIS, Apache Web Servers, XML, Oracle, SQL Server, JDBC, WebSphere Application Server, Windows and UNIX operating system environments, good written and verbal communication skills. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States of America.
