ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

1. Perform system analysis and functional decomposition of software applications to derive software quality assurance test plans.

2. Determine strategy for test case traceability and test coverage, including the creation of Software Test Specifications for all projects.

3. Develop functional and automated test procedures based on requirement and technical specifications.

4. Execute test cases/procedures and accurately and concisely report both progress and defect status, including gathering and reporting on project quality metrics.

5. Enter issues, maintain issues, and manage the defect tracking system.

6. Perform ad-hoc testing as needed.

7. Troubleshoot and find root cause of issues found during testing using technical knowledge.

1. Excellent analytical skills and commitment to continuous testing improvement.

2. Experience in using configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, debugging tools, and testing tools.

3. Superior Functional and Performance Automation Skills.

4. Expert knowledge of software development lifecycles and how they pertain to product validation and Quality Assurance.

5. Expertise with all phases and stages of software testing (Functional, System, Integration, Data Validation, User Acceptance, Scalability, Performance, Stress, and Load).

6. In-depth knowledge of Test Planning, Test Case Specification, and Test Procedure Development.

7. Superior knowledge of software troubleshooting.

8. Familiarity with the tools in the Microsoft Office suite.

9. Comfortable working within Windows and Unix OS environments.
