QA Analyst

Job Description:

This position is responsible for analyzing and testing Internet-based software systems developed by a leading provider of business services within the worldwide travel industry, with a heavy emphasis on automation.

 

 

Job Requirements:
Candidates must have experience performing functional testing and regression testing of complex software systems. A thorough understanding of Internet applications and web system architectures is required. Strong communication skills and a collaborative team-orientation are essential. Practical experience with automated testing tools, preferably Mercury Interactives QuickTest Professional, in a web environment is strongly preferred.

 

?  At least five years of hands-on experience testing complex software systems

 

?  Strong analytical skills and a capacity for creative problem-solving

 

?  Experience creating test strategies, test plans, and test cases

 

?  Strong written and verbal communication skills

 

?  Familiarity with Internet technologies - Must be able to work with XML

 

?  Ability to work independently, to organize and prioritize multiple project responsibilities, and to produce quality work under deadline pressure

 

?  Superior work ethic

 

?  Experience with automated testing tools a must
