QA Analyst II

JOB DUTIES:

*Review business and functional specs to create comprehensive test plans and test cases, both manual and automated

*Functional, system integration, regression, user acceptance and production deployment testing

*Submit descriptive and concise reports in defect tracking system

*Demonstrate ownership and accountability with assigned tasks

*Track and deploy all software deliveries, components and versions

*Responsible for software dependency checks

*Generate release reports/notifications

*Coordinate releases with QA, Engineering, Network Operations and Product

*Maintain test environment hardware and software



 

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:

*3-5 years of QA experience

*Experience with programming languages (UNIX shell programming, Perl, XML, C++, Java, JSP)

*Experience with Oracle database, basic SQL programming, CVS

*Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems

*Strong organizational, time management and communication skills, both written and verbal

*Familiarity with QA automated testing tools and methodology (SilkTest, SilkPerformer)

*Must be goal and detail-oriented

*Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

*Firm understanding of software development cycle

*Ability to work well in a team environment; be flexible with changing priorities and multiple projects
