QA Analyst-Performance

We are looking for an Automation Tester who has expertise in Loadrunner.  The QA Tester must have overall 5 years QA experience with at least 3 years with Mercury?s Loadrunner product. Additionally, the QA Analyst will establish quality assurance and measurement tools to track application development status. Knowledge of testing practice, SDLC, methodologies

 

ResponsibilitiesMust be a LoadRunner Expert who can run LoadRunner, monitor the performance, analyze that performance and recommend changes to improve application performance.Work independently with little supervision or in a team environment. Proficient in Performance Test Plan creation and Execution Analysis Reports interpretation and recommendationsProvide program documentation and system documentation that is understandable by other technical people. Creation of test plans and test cases to test the connectivity, functionality and proper flow of information across applications.Automated and manual testingEnsure reliability, availability, and performance of applications. Execution of performance testing and/or integration testing. Use analytical skills to document test requirements, test cases as needed.

 

Skills communication, organization and documentation skills.

 

-- Must be a Loadrunner expert who can analyze the performance reports as well as run them.

--Must be able to monitor performance, analyze the performance and recommend changes to improve application

  performance

--QTP is a strong nice to have

---Writing test scripts and execution - Intermediate Experience Required

--Writing test plans and cases - Intermediate Experience Required

--Overall knowledge of Testing practices/methods, SDLC, methodologies

­­­---Intermediate knowledge of Management/Defect Tracking is also highly desired.

--Demonstrated ability to set and meet deadlines.

--Have the ability to think logically and analyze system problems.

--Proficient in WORD, Excel, Access Project - Intermediate Experience Required

--Knowledge of SQL, Stored Procedures, ODBC, and ADO.

--Intermediate knowledge of network architecture

--Knowledge of communication protocols like TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS.

--Experience with MS Office apps ? Project and Visio is a huge plus.

-Knowledge of XML, XSLT, XSD, SOAP, and WSDL a huge plus. Nice to have

--Knowledge of 3rd party reporting solutions like Crystal Reports is a plus. Nice to have

--Intermediate knowledge of test data and application flow mapping.

--Knowledge of coding API interface between Mercury Test Director as well as automation and mechanization of Winrunner

  and TestDirector.

--Knowledge of CMM is a huge plus.
