QA Architect Engineer

QA Architect NEEDED for a Permanent or Contract to Hire position here in Jacksonville, FL.

 

. Position Summary
QA?s Architecture Engineering representative; possessing the highest degree of knowledge and experience in both JAVA engineering and Software Quality Assurance (process, methodologies and best practices).



Job Accountability
? Challenge our Chief Architect and the architecture team
? Devise Best Practices and measurability for quality metrics
? Influence and drive changes in architecture and design
? Assist with Engineering Test Plans (architecture, infrastructure, performance)
? Coordinate test environments
? Coordinate test data management strategy
? Assess all architecture deliverables (both frameworks and application)
? Set up of testing tools and usage
? Assist with test case/script design/development (code and component based)
? Assist with Test Case/Script execution (code and component based)
? Report test status and metrics to critical project members; and QAM

Requirements
? Architecture/design experience (hands-on, all aspects) with JAVA, J2EE, Oracle, XML, SQL, web services, J2EE patterns; You MUST know J2EE well, and not just be familiar
? Use of version/source control apps
? Use of Junit
? Experience managing a small team (2-5 people)
? 3+ years developing web based JAVA applications
? Component based testing (and modeling; OO development)
? Unix environments
? Excellent written and verbal communication
? Bachelors degree or higher in science related area (math, engineering, etc. preferred)

? Expert level experience with Unix, perl, Websphere and Oracle
? Experience with Clearcase, Test Director, and Java development tools
? Development of Models (using UML)
? Masters degree
