QA Engineer Level 4

INFOSPHERIX, the premier provider of outsourced call center services to federal and state government agencies, has an immediate opening in Beltsville, MD, for a QA Engineer Level 4.  This position will be responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for Company products. 

 

Duties and responsibilities:

v  Develops and executed software test plans

v  Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures

v  Maintains documentation of test results

v  Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality

v  Recommends corrective actions regarding functionality

 

Education and Experience:

v  Requires using professional concepts to solve complex problems in creative and effective ways.

v  Works on complex problems where analysis of situations requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.

v  Work requires exercising judgment within broadly defined practices in selecting methods and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

v  Requires ability to determine methods on new assignments and or provide guidance to lower level personnel.

v  Bachelor?s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience if non-degree and a minimum of 8 years related quality assurance engineering experience.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

v  Job requires ability to effectively handle very complex issues/projects on a regular basis

v  Strong leadership capabilities and be able to develop talent with lower level personnel

v  Advanced proficiency with Rational Test Manager VSS and CMMI

v  Ability to work within tight deadlines and a flexible schedule

v  Strong verbal and written communication skills
