QA Lead

At this time, we are looking for a qualfied QA Lead for our client located in Midtown Manhattan. It is a great opportunity for a career minded individual who has extensive experience in Test Strategy, Test Planning and Test Execution of complex business applications!!!  This is a midterm contract position with full time potential for the right candidate.Here is the job requirements for this opening:

 

QA Lead/Manager

 

Mandatory Skills:

- Extensive experience in Test Strategy, Test Planning and Test Execution of  complex business applications.
- Extensive expertise in different testing techniques (Functional Testing,
User Interface Testing, Load Testing, Performance Testing, Stress Testing etc.)
- Experience on testing Windows and Web based applications.
- Experience with Test Management and Automation Tools (Rational Tools Preferred).
- Expert in writing Test Cases and Test Scripts.
- Experience managing User Acceptance Testing.
- Capability to mentor and train QA team members and end users.
-  Hands on experience required.

-  Flexibility to work on multiple small or medium size projects in an evolving environment.
- Capability of building strong relationships with IT and business personnel.
- Strong Communication Skills (Verbal and Written).
- Good Understanding of SDLC.
- Experience with the Rational Unified Process a big plus.
- Experience working in the financial industry (Commercial Finance
experience will be a big plus).
