This Assoc. Engineer, QA is responsible for development of test plans, implementation/execution of test plans and test cases, bug tracking, integration testing, and regression testing. This position will also be responsible for developing and executing automated test cases and capacity tests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Evaluates and tests new or modified software programs to verify that programs function according to both technical and business requirements
? Develop and execute detail oriented manual and automated test cases to verify that programs function according to both technical and user requirements
? Develop and execute capacity and stress test cases
? Ability to act as a lead tester and assign tasks/oversee other testers on a project
? Isolate bugs, document and track them in bug repository
? Produce detailed bug reports
? Effectively communicate with QA Manager and project team members.
? Assist in the development of junior testers
? Perform other activities and duties as requested

Skills:
? Must have a strong working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies
? Intermediate working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and other scripting languages
? Intermediate working knowledge of SQL
? Intermediate working knowledge of Windows and Unix operating systems
? Advanced troubleshooting skills
? Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
? Strong written and verbal communication skills
? Programming knowledge preferred
? .Net experience preferred
? Automated testing experience preferred

? Ability to prioritize tasks among many competing requests
? Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
? Ability to learn new applications and processes quickly are also necessary for this position

Education / Experience:
? Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience
? 5+ years experience in Quality Assurance or Technical Support
? Or relevant combination of education and experience
