QA Test lead

Responsible for Test Strategy, Test Planning, Scripts, Execution and
defect managment in QA processes for Dataspace, CTD, BTR reporting test
activities.
-Lead for 3-4 QA resources on Database Management Consolidation project.
-QA Lead Analyst for mainframe based Treasury Services applications.

The mainframe infrastructures include MVS operating systems,
DB2 databases, Natural and Cobol programs.

The primary application supported is Information Reporting which includes communications, translation of various formats including ANSI
X12, BAI. BAI2 and SWIFT.

Primary responsibilities will be to develop test approach, write test strategy documents, create test plans and cases based on Functional and
System Specifications, execute test cases.

Test execution includes progress reporting, defect tracking and risk assessments. This application involves complex JCL streams and requires strong JCL analysis skills.

Other responsibilities include:

Review, and confirm completeness and testability of functional requirements and system design specifications. Execute detailed test plans / cases based on these documents, as well as leveraging existing test artifacts where applicable.
Identify, communicate and track issues related to product quality development & product management areas. Supports development staff in the further identification of the cause of the fault and assist with recreating problem
scenarios when necessary.
Coordinate testing efforts across QA and UAT teams, as well as end-to-end testing with remote systems and business partners when applicable.
Follow the GCA SDLC & ensure conformance to software change control & other system policies & standards.
