QA/Tester Openings - Delaware

COMSYS currently has several direct hire & contract openings for Quality Assurance Analysts in Wilmington, Delaware. 

 

As a Software Quality Assurance Analyst, you will perform stress tests on the systems to demonstrate that the applications can withstand or recover appropriately from failure or high-pressure points/periods. Utilize appropriate tools and processes to ensure application and infrastructure can support the expected go live data and transaction loads. Responsible for Performance, Stress, and Load Testing, which includes testing of Web, Client/Server, Mainframe, Terminal Emulator, and Middleware applications, as well as related infrastructures. Provide input to the development of the stress testing strategy and approach. Develop stress testing plans and scripts. Work with counterparts to help plan, build, operate and maintain the stress testing environment. Manage and/or perform stress testing. Document test procedures, load balances, system performance findings and problems from test results. Reconcile test results from different tests and different groups. Assess readiness and deviation of application performance based upon test results and product specifications. You will ensure that processes and testing documentation meet total quality management and/or other reliability standards. Research and implement initiatives that would improve testing methods, processes, and test/load tools. Perform the tests in both the QA and contingency/back-up environments:

 

Knowledge of testing methodology, automated test/load tools (i.e. LoadRunner) and test documentation procedures

 

Knowledge of the application/architecture being tested and its integration points

 

MUST HAVE 2-4 years of experience performing stress tests on systems 

 

CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A US SECURITY CLEARANCE.
