QA4 Test Engineer Mobile/Wireless or Client/Server $40K$50K
Job Description:
We are seeking a candidate that thoroughly understands configuration of 802.11 networks. The Project skill set includes IT management, WLAN, configuration and support of enterprise level 802.11 Access Points, experience configuring VoIP devices or software. In addition, the ideal candidate will also have experience using WildPackets Aeropeek 802.11 Packet Analyzer, and at least two years configuring and supporting cisco routers. The Test Engineer will have an opportunity to work with the latest Internet software, mobile computing wireless products, and digital imaging technology on a variety of projects. Exposure to new and exciting products prior to release is a part of the excitement of the culture. Minimum of 2 years of related industry work experience and 1 year in a problem isolation related field, such as technical support, field support engineer, technical product marketing, help desk, or web design. Previous SQA experience is a plus. The candidate must possess strong knowledge of MS Windows, PC setup, OS internals, memory management, resolving hardware conflicts, and basic hardware/software troubleshooting. Knowledge of LANs and the Internet, including multiple browsers and e-mail clients. In addition,technology experience in mobile computing, Internet applications or digital imaging is a required. Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written desired. Previous SQA experience in a structured testing environment working with comprehensive test plans and delivering test deliverables to a fast paced software development environment is a mandatory requirement.
