Quality Assur Analyst II

The right candidate will possess the ability to multitask in order to address competing priorities and will work closely with developers and analysts.

Req's:
Sound knowledge of industry-standards, methodology, and terminology relating to software QA and testing.
Proven analytical skills, strong technical aptitude, and strong leadership ability.
Ability to read, interpret, and question complex technical information to gain thorough knowledge of project and application specifics.
Ability to identify, research, and lead process improvements efforts that benefit the overall quality of the QA organization.
Ability to achieve challenging project goals and adapt to rapid change.
Strong written/verbal communication skills.
Ability to work on concurrent projects and multitask in order to effectively address competing priorities.
4 year bachelor's degree in CS or related IT discipline with 2 years QA experience. In lieu of a degree, external candidates must have a minimum of 4 years QA experience & internal candidates must have a minimum of 6 years experience with Progressive systems (i.e., OWB, Proteus, Polaris, SBR, etc.)

Core Respon:
Review and gain a thorough understanding of the requirements & designs.
Identify and challenge missing/ambiguous req's & designs documents.
Apply appropriate advanced testing methodologies to all assignments (i.e., path-based analysis, flow charting, etc.) and employ both verification and validation tools/techniques.
Translate project req's & designs into executable test conditions.
Adhere to & comply with all team procedures.

Preferred Skills
Knowledge of HTML, XML, OO, and other programming languages/concepts.
Software development & test automation experience
Familiarity with web based, client-server, and MF environments
Understanding of the concept of embedded systems/logic
