FCS, a financial software and services unit of J.P. Morgan Chase has immediate opening for an analytical and detail-oriented individual to asset with business analysis and quality assurance validation of portfolio management and accounting systems both client/server and web based. The position requires heavy interaction with complex financial calculations and processes as well as significant analytical and PC skills. Candidate should expect hands-on involvement during the analysis and development of the software. A typical day may include application/calculation testing, general financial analysis, development interaction, and client interaction.

2+ years experience in accounting or finance, (preference for banking or investment industry experience or yield, NAV, financial type functions)
3+ years experience creating and implementing test environments for a client-server or distributed system involving relational databases
3+ years experience testing web-based B2B products, preferably investment related
Experience creating detailed test cases/scripts for technical and/or business clients
Experience creating functional and technical documentation
3+ years experience with manual testing, testing tools, writing test plans, and reviewing test cases
Finance/Accounting Background
3+ years experience with applications development or quality assurance testing experience required
3+ years experience testing methodology automated test/load tools (i.e. QTP, LoadRunner).
PC Skills; MS Excel/Word
Strong Organizational Skills, Detail Oriented, Analytical Mind, Task Oriented and Strong Work Ethic
Team Oriented experience


Preferred Requirements:
System Analysis
BA or BS minimum, preference for Accounting/Finance

Professional Certifications (CFA, CPA, CMA, etc.)
