Overview
We are seeking an individual to join our Information Technology department as a Quality Assurance Application Tester. This is a full time position in an energetic, fast-paced, team oriented web-based department. This position reports to the IT Project Manager. The candidate must be extremely detail oriented, flexible, possess the ability to multitask and be able to produce quality results.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is productive with minimal supervision, generates quality work at a rapid fire pace and is able to exercise independent judgment in line with company, department or management direction. The candidate will be able to keep up and maintain the integrity of multiple projects simultaneously. Strong written and oral communication skills will be required. You will need interpersonal skills to work with both a technical and non technical staff; and must be flexible as priorities change; and is a team player willing to assist in other areas as needed.

Qualified applicants will have
? 2 years experience in a web-based quality assurance role
? 1 year SQL experience
? Experience with testing e-commerce websites
? Experience with Macromedia Cold Fusion a plus
? Automated and Load testing a plus
? Healthcare industry experience is helpful

Job Description
This position will involve application testing, regression testing, problem analysis and extensive internal customer contact. Qualified applicants will work with development staff ensuring that quality standards are met as well as performing a thorough test of all program changes.

Job Responsibilities
1. QA of applications and reports for content and basic data integrity, technical problems and adherence to functional specifications
2. Work with developers to troubleshoot and resolve production errors
3. Write and maintain test scripts for applications and reports
4. Regression Test of Applications and Reports
5. Design efficient tests using application, DB (SQL) and Stored Procedure documentation
6. Coordinate large scale application test efforts (involving Data Tester and other resources as needed)
7. Track bug/error rates and report back to management
8. Migrate application and reports across a cluster environment
9. Receive final approval from management prior to production migrations
10. Communicate project completion
