Job Description

This individual will be involved in the creation, preparation, and conduct of quality assurance activities, including:

 

* Project design reviews

* Test Plan/Case/Script development and execution of test plans and test scripts.

* Reviews of business requirements and functional specification documents.

* Logs, tracks, and verifies resolution of software and specification defects.

* Ensures the original intent of the business case is achieved in the actual implementation for the business intelligence solution

*Leads efforts to validate the integrity of the data throughout the data integration process

* Works with project management and the development team to resolve data quality issues

* Accountable to build, manage and execute QA plans on MAP Initiatives

* Develop MAP QA Principles and Best Practices (in collaboration with IT) - Document MAP QA Process Guidelines, Templates and Plans

 

Requirements

This individual should have the following background:

 

* Experience as a Data Warehouse Tester, QA Analyst, Data Analyst or Business Analyst

* Experience with Business Intelligence Tools and concepts such as COGNOS

* Experience with CRM systems such as Sales Logix

* Testing RDBMS database applications in SQL Server

* Complete project life cycle of Analysis, Design, Implementation, Testing, Regression testing * Working as a back-end tester writing SQL Queries

* Strong working knowledge and understanding of QA methodology

* Experience in developing business based functional test scenarios.

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

* Experience in Financial or Banking environments a plus

* Developing & Modeling Complex Test Plans, Executing Test Cases, Test Scripts.

* User Acceptance, Unit, Functional, Regression, Integration, Back End, System Level Load and Stress Testing

* Problem solving and Bug Tracking Reports using Bug tracking Tools.

* Ability to grasp new technologies and industries quickly.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
