Quality Assurance Manager / Coordinator

Candidates will be involved in multiple projects in the Corporate Business Systems division.

 

Quality Assurance Managers / Coordinators

 

Create and maintain a work plan of all testing tasks will ensure the quality of the test and offer recommendations on migration of code into production.

Oversees all Business and ISO testing resources (staff and tools) and their responsibilities.

Ability to define the critical test objectives for this project and effectively deliver results.

 

Project management skills, including managing risks and issues, project and resource planning. Managed the execution of test plans. Able to understand project needs and develop a test strategy to meet those needs. Lead the evaluation of test results and metrics.

 

Support all aspects of Quality Management for the Platform Replacement Project.

Play a crucial role in building a center of excellence

 

Responsibilities include:

Create Local Quality Management practices for LCM Establish a "service management" mentality around governed work efforts Identify opportunities to actively engage with ALL governed work efforts, understanding the true "health" of the activity, and proactively mitigating risks as they emerge Be accountable for early detection and appropriate communication of work effort risks and issues Validate work efforts and disciplines are meeting governance deliverables according to defined Understand, document, audit, and participate in local review processes Work with Release Management to insure "exceptions" are properly administered Be actively involved with the Project Managers (PM) (e.g. attending their planning meetings, updates, etc.) to be close to their current and upcoming work efforts Identify process misperceptions and/or concerns and proactively respond to them



 

Additional responsibilities include: Manage all of the Testing efforts for the PRP project, including the creation of test strategies, test plans; defects management. This will include management of internal test team as well as the vendor's testing efforts. Coordinate environment set up, identify gaps, gather test data and test id's Manage resolution of test related defects and provide a summary of test results. Coordinate all Quality Governance sign offs. Candidate needs to be able to work in a dynamic environment with multiple responsibilities. Must be highly motivated, flexible and eager to learn. Strong leadership skills Good Communication Skills Experience in driving execution of multiple test events (i.e. projects, work efforts or model offices, etc.)Proficient in test methodologies and understanding various types of testing (i.e. regression, stress, load, performance, etc.). A proven track record leading high-powered teams. Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. Excellent teamwork skills. Experience with Test Director, WinRunner

 

Education/Experience:Bachelors Degree 5-10 years direct industry experienceWindows 2000, Windows NT expertiseProficient with MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Project, MS Word, Outlook
