Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

Qualifications

? Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

? Track record of successful completion of projects

? Track record of isolating complex issues so that they can be reliably reproduced

? Ability to define test cases and scripts based on documented testing requirements and test plans, ability to prepare reports and analyses on tests and test results, and demonstration of a thorough knowledge of software testing issues, methods, metrics, and resources

?Demonstrated knowledge and skill using automated test tools (i.e. Selenium, Mercury, Grinder, etc.)

?Excellent documentation skills

?Demonstrated proficiency with QA concepts, issues, methods, and tools and will demonstrate a detailed understanding of the software testing methods and software development processes used by the organization

?Must work within established practices to maintain, modify, and enhance existing software quality methods and processes, and participate in the development and testing of new software quality assurance methods

?Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring, the ability to research and identify test requirements, and the ability to define test plans for all aspects of software testing including functional, integration, performance, stress, and scalability testing

?Ability to work closely and collaboratively with software developers


Preferred:

?2-4 years in QA or development roles

?Technical experience with JavaScript, JUnit, JProfiler, JProbe & Websphere strongly desired

?Knowledge of DOM, XPath, and Apache
