Job Description (Summary):

As a key member of a  Reengineering team, will work with the Lead Project Manager,  the Business Project Manager, and the Lead Java Application Developer to provide QA / Testing expertise to the project.

 

Responsibilities:

?  Work with Project Management and under the direct oversight of the Lead Project Manager.

?  Provide direction and oversight in the creation and implementation of a state-of-the-art Quality Assurance / Testing practice based on industry ?best practices?

?  Work with the Business and Technical Project Managers to plan, design, and implement both a process and environment for Quality Assurance / User Acceptance Testing

?  Assist the Business Project Manager in the development of User Test scripts

?  Provide guidance to the agency regarding the use of Service Level Agreements and related disciplines.

?  Work with the Lead Java Application Developer to identify (and implement) opportunities for automating tests.

?  Work with  staff and provide knowledge transfer and/or mentoring that will provide the background for ongoing development, maintenance, and support

 

Required Skills

?  Expert level, hands-on experience creating UATs, SLAs, and similar QA deliverables

?  Extensive experience in similar assignments. Able to serve as mentor to IT staff.
